The Story Behind Mentors Educational Consultancy – Nepal’s Expert Overseas Education Consultancy

Mentors Educational Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., based in Banepa in Nepal’s Kavre District, was founded on January 31, 2010, and is now in its 15th year of service. The consultancy has grown into a leading education center for study-abroad programs and test preparation. Over its first eleven years, the company served more than 3,000 aspiring students, helping them achieve target scores in English proficiency tests and guiding them to academic destinations in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Located just 25 kilometers east of Kathmandu, in the beautiful and growing town of Banepa, Mentors stands out as a reliable institution for students in and around Kavre District. It is one of the oldest and most dedicated educational consultancies in the district, with legal registration under the Government of Nepal. The company is a private entity registered under the Company Act and also holds local registration with Banepa Municipality. It is VAT-registered and adheres to all required financial and legal standards. Moreover, the consultancy is recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and operates under the code of conduct of ECAN (Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal).

Manoj Kumar Adhikari, the Founder and Managing Director, launched Mentors with the belief that even students in smaller towns like Banepa should have access to professional-level guidance. His background in teaching and counseling has shaped the company’s hands-on approach.

From the start, Mentors focused on strengthening each student’s profile through genuine career counseling and helping individuals choose the best possible colleges, universities, and programs that suit their goals. This approach has made the consultancy a trusted name in overseas education, particularly for students in suburban areas. Mentors proudly describes itself as “the best IELTS and PTE preparation hub of Kavre District.”

Mentors has focused its efforts primarily on New Zealand since 2014.

In total, Mentors has successfully guided over 500 students to different education destinations, though it emphasizes quality over quantity. The consultancy sends students who are academically and financially prepared, ensuring long-term career outcomes.

In New Zealand, students from Mentors have settled in cities like Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, Queenstown, Tauranga, Rotorua, and Napier. The consultancy even provides post-visa support, helping students manage accommodations once they arrive.
